Offshore wind output will continue growing, as the 0.9 GW <a href=\"https:\/\/electricinsights.co.uk\/#\/dashboard?period=1-month&amp;start=2025-02-01&amp;&amp;_k=0xja2v\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Moray West\">Moray West<\/a> came online in April, and the 1.2 GW <a href=\"https:\/\/doggerbank.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Dogger Bank A<\/a> is scheduled for completion later this year. However, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.sky.com\/story\/orsted-pulls-plug-on-hornsea-4-windfarm-blaming-a-surge-in-challenges-13363134\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\u00d8rsted cancelled their plans to expand Hornsea 4\">\u00d8rsted cancelled their plans to expand Hornsea 4<\/a> due to increasing costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Greenlink Interconnect came online, adding 504 MW of transmission capacity between Wales and Ireland. The new link is expected to improve \u201cboth countries\u2019 energy security, resilience and ability to harness clean power\u201d.
